Christopher Anninos
Family Lawyer
Christopher’s practice involves helping clients reach cost-effective solutions to their issues. He focuses on family law matters, including cohabitation, pre-nuptial, and separation agreements, as well as contested and uncontested divorce matters, property division and support issues.
Christopher also has broad experience dealing with civil litigation matters, including estates, construction/lien, employment, real estate, commercial disputes and debt collection. He has represented clients at all stages of the negotiation and litigation process, including acting as counsel at trials in the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Christopher received his BA in Criminology from Vancouver Island University and his law degree from the University of Alberta. He was called to the Bar in Alberta and British Columbia in 2018.
Christopher was a summer and articling student with Alberta Justice where he gained a wide variety of litigation experience including in the areas of criminal prosecutions, civil litigation and child protection. In 2018, after completing his articles, Christopher returned to BC and joined a regional firm where he practiced until joining Ocean Park Law in May 2023.
Christopher began his practice as a general civil litigator handling a variety of different legal disputes, including construction, personal injury, real estate, commercial and family law matters.
He has since focussed his practice on family law and enjoys working with people to resolve some of the most difficult and challenging personal and legal disputes they encounter.
Christopher grew up in Powell River, BC and lived abroad in Greece where he has family. Christopher is a reluctant Canucks fan and a former on-ice official in various leagues across BC and Alberta, including the WHL, the BCHL and the AJHL. Outside of work, he enjoys playing rec hockey, golfing and travel.
